Blended Choc Cherry Chia Pudding

Some people really hate the texture of chia seeds.

This blended chia pudding is a great substitute for regular chia pudding, or for overnight oats if you don’t love oats or can’t eat them for whatever reason.

It’s also a family favourite. My son and I share it very regularly.

Ingredients (serves 3 adults)

  • 1/2 cup of chia seeds

  • 1 cup of frozen cherries

  • 1 cup of greek yoghurt

  • 1/2 cup of milk of choice

  • 2 scoops of protein powder of choice (if sharing with a small human, pick one they can have like a collagen powder or unflavoured powder)

  • 1 tbsp of cacao powder (can omit for people under 12 months if sharing)

  • Dash of maple syrup

Method

  1. Blend everything together in a blender. THAT’S IT.

  2. Place into desired containers to spend the night in the fridge. You can either chuck it in one big container and serve in the morning, or if you are going to take it on the go, place in jars or single serve containers.

  3. If just for you, 2-3 serves is great. If you’re sharing with a little person, I usually get 2 serves for me and two smaller serves for my son.

  4. In the morning, top with favourite fruit, maybe some extra yoghurt, extra maple, some nut butter of choice. There is not right or wrong here.
