Chocolate Protein Slice

This slice is honestly a favourite for everyone who has tasted it.

I always get requests for the recipe once someone gets their hands on a piece.

It’s incredibly easy, absolutely hits the spot when you want some chocolate, and it’s packed with protein.

Ingredients

  • 60g Peanut butter

  • 60g protein powder (go for a vanilla or chocolate powder that you like the taste of)

  • 70g soy crisps (if you can’t find these, puffed rice or Rice Bubbles work, but will lower the protein content)

  • 200g dark chocolate (milk works fine if that’s your preference)

  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Add the peanut butter, protein powder, soy crisps, and salt to a bowl.

  2. Melt the chocolate however you like to melt chocolate. I use a microwave because it’s so quick and easy. 30 second bursts and check/stir between rounds.

  3. Add the melted chocolate to the rest of the ingredients. Mix until completely combined.

  4. You can set this either in a mini muffin style silicone moulds or a slice pan and simply cut to desired size.

  5. If you but to 12 pieces you’ll get around 10g of protein per piece!
